Early in life, someone told me I had “a great face for radio!” I was initially insulted but eventually figured out that instead of picking watermelons in 100-degree Central Texas heat, I could be in an air-conditioned radio station control room! – Now THAT was a revelation. And ever since, I have been in that air-conditioned control room in one capacity or another doing “indoor work with no heavy lifting,” as a friend used to say.
While avoiding that whole watermelon thing, I married my high school sweetheart, had 3 great daughters and now, a brand new grandson. If you could only skip the children and go straight to the grandchildren. =D
Hobby-wise, I’ve given motorcycles a go, then airplanes but now cooking is more my speed. I’m one of those chefs that can’t boil water, but I make a mean Duck ala Orange. BTW - I am in love with Cajun food…I’m certain I was born in the wrong state. My andouille sausage, chicken and ham jambalaya is to die for.

It’s great to work for Sound Works, where I never get bored working on movies like Scooby Doo and shows like Cartoon Networks’ “Chowder”. I have even been the “audio expert” on a Ghost-hunting show on Court TV. It makes getting up to go to work every morning a pleasure, instead of a chore.
Remember the Texas Tobacco lawsuit several years ago? I did a lot of audio cleanup and audio post on that project and, at the time, was a four-pack-a-day smoker…. thank goodness I quit shortly thereafter. Now one of my new passions is social networking - make a connection with me at one of the links above.
